Cancún has a Semi – tropical climate, meaning hot and humid all year round.

The official currency is the Mexican Peso.

Language

The official language of Mexico is Spanish; in Cancun as in most of the touristic places in Mexico, everybody in hotels, stores, flea markets and shopping malls speak English.

Visa and Passport Requirements

Local transportation

Cancun International Airport handles the second largest colume of traffic in Mexico, but receives the highest score for its modern facilities and equipment, and above all security. Inside the airport you will find the main companies for car rental and safe taxis services.

Business Hours

Business hours are from 8:00 am through 9:00 pm some offices are closed from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Shopping malls are open usually until 9:30 pm or 10:00 pm. Restaurants and bars at the hotel zone are open until 1:00 am.

Cancun has excellent hospitals and medical care.
